Become A Singleton Singer!
We are always on the lookout for new, enthusiastic choristers, so if you think you’d like to join us, we’d love to hear from you.
All you need to do is go to the ‘Book or Contact Us’ page of this website and fill out the enquiry form which, once submitted, will be forwarded to our Secretary. She’ll then contact you and arrange for you to come along to one of our practices and have a listen.
If you like what you hear, you will be asked to sing a couple of notes (in private), with the Musical Director, at the end of the rehearsal to see what part of the choir your voice would be best suited to. After a month you will be asked to sing a song you have been rehearsing to see if everything is ok from your perspective and the Musical Director’s. You don’t necessarily have to read music, though it helps. Many choristers record the songs we practise in rehearsals and learn that way.
Become A Patron
Perhaps you are interested in the choir but don’t want to become a chorister. Then why not become a Singleton Singers patron?
Our patrons are an integral part of our choir family and provide invaluable support financially and practically, with some helping out front of house at our concerts. Patrons are kept up-to-date on past performances and future events via regular newsletters and their support of the choir is recognised with a special Patrons’ Concert .
If you’d like to join our growing list of supporters, please go to our ‘Book or Contact Us’ page and complete the enquiry form. This will be forwarded to our Patrons’ Secretary who will get in touch with you to arrange membership. The cost per year is £10.00 for individuals and £15.00 for couples.
